How would you describe your style? I would describe my style as being polished, understated, and effortless with (hopefully) an unexpected twist. I think it should be diagnosed with some kind of identity disorder, though, because it can literally shift from a very polished, classic look to something way more raw and edgy within a twenty-four hour period.
Who is Your Style Icon? I have a few. My mother taught me a lot about fabric, fit, classic construction etc. so she’s been a major influence on how I initially piece together an outfit. Then I try to add something unexpected and fun to that classic template. Also, as is the case with many women today, I’m obsessed with Olivia Palermo. She can do no wrong. But on a day to day basis, I look to street style bloggers for the most accessible inspiration. Lainy Hedaya from the blog Haute Inhabit, Jessica Stein from Tuula Vintage, Chiara from the Blonde Salad and Julie Sarinana from Sincerely Jules are among my favorites.
Favorite item you own? My most cherished item is probably my diamond cross necklace from Tiffany’s. It was a gift from my parents, and I had it blessed, so not only is it a beautiful piece, but the sentimental value can’t be matched.
Who are your Favorite Designers? I love Miu Miu, Isabel Marant, DVF, Theory, Rag & Bone, and Alexander Wang. A lot of my other favorite designers I can’t necessarily afford to wear, so I just admire from afar
