When Models Are Too Skinny...Take 2

The first time He went about pointing out a model that was too skinny, He admits He might have gone about it in the wrong way. This is now the second time, He is going to do a post like this, and hopefully the results aren't as bad. He writes about models He likes, which means it is only fair to write about models that are not a good fit. No offense to the model here, because she is still very hot, and He would take her in a second, but the fact remains she is too skinny. The reason this is bad, is not because its going to give other girls eating issues, or body issues, it is because no one else is that skinny. He is not trying to get any models kicked off a job or anything, but the people responsible for selecting models should do a better job.

 See the bunch in the front? Not a good look, that bathing suit has got to be tight to the body. This is a great example of a poorly fitting bathing suit. If you put a bathing suit on and there is a lot of left over material, exchange for a size down. Even the top doesn't fit right. Celebrities should know better.

Meeting Tiffany, Our second NYC girl this week, as a NYC blog, gotta load up on NYC girls, there are just too many out there, city is full of untapped HottHe's. Tiffany claims she is obsessed with shoes, and has quite the collection of heels to prove it, "i rather wear heels over anything else. How would you describe your style?  I would describe my style as elegant chic. I like stuff that makes a woman look classy but still sexy.... So like form fitting dresses, tight pencil skirts, and flowy blouses that accentuate a woman's body

How would you describe your style? I say no to anything tacky or trashy. Haha! For me, there’s no definite description when it comes to one’s sense of style. I think it’s forever evolving and in a constant
progress. Therefore I cannot merely say that I’m this or that. When it comes to choices
though, I usually rely on the basics, match it up and then go. Most of the time, I’m in
a casual laidback outfit that involves tank tops, denim shorts, and flats. I lean towards
the edgy side of dressing up, I’m a male wannabe way back then. My other quirky side’s
expressed thru my outfit posts. And another thing, I’m afraid of colors! :p

Favorite item you own? It’s hard to choose one. I guess anything that is black or animal print
could pass as an instant fave! And as for shoes, that’d have to be my black suede slingback wedges!

Who are your favorite designers? I don’t have a particular favourite although I admire the works of Filipino designers especially those who make shoes.

Night 8: Nail Trends

Your boss probably already hates you so you might as well do what you want and paint your nails crazy colors.

Whether you prefer Essie or OPI, there are plenty of fun colors to choose from this season. Lately, I’ve been donning a dark navy-purple polish (OPI Roadhouse Blues) topped with sparkle (OPI Divine Swine) to enhance my Hanukkah merriment.

I’ve always been sporadic with most things in my life. My impulse shopping habit never caused any real issues (Daddy might disagree), but when it comes time to “picka culla”, I go into full-blown panic mode. I typically try out 5-10 colors and once I’ve narrowed down my choices, I ask my manicurist which she likes best and then I go with the color she has not selected. I find that it’s best not to trust the help with these decisions.

Some of my favorites right now are:

OPI: School of Hard Rocks, Roadhouse Blues and the whole Muppets Collection – there’s nothing better than looking down at sparkly toes in the morning when you get up to pee.

Sequins on New Years Eve is Overrated!

Just because every store and online retailer is showing sequins for new years eve, does not mean you have to wear sequins. There is going to be an insane number of girls in sequins on nye, but the ArmHe will be one step ahead looking even better. There is still time to get a nye dress, and He would recommend you not get sequins dress. Way to Cliche. Go with something else sexy, black, lace, red, sheer, blue, there are a million options. Get a backless dress, add some body chains/jewelry, get shiny sparkle shoes, but whatever you do, don't be the girl in sequins.

If it’s cold enough to wear boots, it’s not warm enough for a peeptoe.

Forget the fact that this trend just does not make sense, these boots are so ugly. I love boots. Like, I LOVE boots. I wait all year for the temperature to drop just enough to start wearing boots and I cherish the few months of comfort that comes with the full leg support of boots.

Closed-toed shoes protect your feet and cover bad pedicures. Boots are meant to cover your whole lower leg and keep your feet warm. So why, WHY, would you wear peeptoe boots?? No one wants to see your un-pedicured, winter-white feet coming out of the front of your boots. Old-lady, peep-toe shoes are bad enough, but peeptoe boots?? Unless you are trying to be The Man Repeller, this is one trend that has got to go.@jewamerprincess

You're already fat, so why would you want to highlight it with skintight yellow denim?

Look, I know my closet seems like it's stuck in Pleasantville, it's so devoid of color, but even if I did wear color (and I might soon now that neon is back), I would know to keep it above the belt.

Our legs make up about two-thirds of our bodies and that is just too much surface area to fill with color. Just like high-waisted anything, these may seem cool, but they just don't look good. You’ll probably end up with a camel toe, which is bad to begin with, but when it’s in yellow denim it’s even worse. So instead of wasting your money on a trend that will be out before you can even decide which of the 55 Joe's Jeans colors you want, just go get some regular Sevens and spare yourself . . . and our eyes.@jewamerprincess

The few years of me that subliminally experienced the `80s are so excited about neon's comeback. Hot pink really brings out my spray tan.

Ok, so generally speaking my wardrobe is strictly black and white, but I just can't help but feel really excited about the return of neon. I don’t know whether it’s nostalgia for the decade I barely remember or the fumes I’ve inhaled after so many keratin treatments, but I’m dreaming about dancing around in hot pink leg warmers singing Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.

Just think of all the black outfits I could wear with my new bright blue pumps? I just don’t know how neon ever went out of style, but I for one am so glad it’s back in.

Tights are not leggings and leggings are not pants.

I hate to belabor the point, but if you're any fatter than an Olsen twin, you just have to come to terms with the fact that most (all) trends won't work for you. Either hire a personal trainer and start starving yourself or just forget about fashion altogether, it wouldn't look good on you anyway.

While we're on this topic, let's review: Tights are not leggings and leggings are not pants. Well, leggings can be pants, unless you’re fat. If you do insist on wearing leggings as pants, you better wear a long shirt with them; no one wants to see that spandex outline of your ass. Seriously, real pants have pockets for a reason.@jewamerprincess

I'm all for charity. Cher's efforts as captain of the Pismo Beach disaster relief (Clueless, 1995) really inspired me to be more of a do-gooder and I learned all about philanthropy during my four years in AEPhi.

I give all my hand-me-downs to Rosaria to send to her family in Columbia… or Mexico or wherever. I even joined the New York Public Library Young Leadership board because it seemed like a great opportunity to meet single Jewish guys give back to the community.

But really Toms Shoes? I don’t need to wear the same canvas shoes you are giving starving kids in Africa. I'll give you the money, but please, keep the shoes.

Is Pubic Hair Coming Back Into Fashion?

Oh boy, here we go again. The never ending debate over pubic hair. It all started back just after the blog first started when He wrote a post about Naked Fashion. Over time, He introduced Carpet Colors, Vajazzle, and Vattooing. Jezebel, just wrote an article the other day, with nsfw pics, with some pretty good points that pubic hair has started to make its way back into fashion, photo shoots and the like. Now you ladies out there are never going to get a 100% answer on what to do, guys like different things, and each guy and girl is different. But what He knows for sure is that like everything else, pubic hair, or lack there of, is a trend like everything else in the world fashion. Take it for what it's worth, but are the times a changing?

I’m a firm believer that animals were put on this earth to please humans. Dogs, love them - I’d die without my maltipoo. But mink? Come on. God put mink on this earth to make incredible fur coats for old ladies and fur vests for young Japs like yours truly.

Tread lightly though, even fur can be a faux pas. Don’t wear fur if you are fatter than an Olsen twin, you'll just end up looking like a hairy linebacker.

How would you describe your style? I love black and leather, and I don't like patterns that much so I will say that I am pretty simple in the color way, but I like thight short and sexy things..I would wear high waist panties with a leather jacket everyday if it was "normal" lol

Favorite item you own? I would say my Christian Louboutin (Lady lynch 120mm) because they are very attractive, I love to wear them while cleaning my house they make me feel like a princess, I am sure it is because they are made of glitters and that the kind of shoes my Princess Barbie dolls used to wear...

Of course Christian Louboutin, I love how Passionate and perfectionist Christian Louboutin is, I also love Giuseppe Zanotti Shoes they are very high and feminine, But also Alexander Wang for is simplicity and as a Parisienne I can't end this without naming Chanel and Louis Vuitton :)

How would you describe your style?  I would say my personal style is one that is effortless and easy. I enjoy mixing different styles together, like incorporating edgy accessories into a very feminine, lady-like outfit. I feel that style is something everyone should play with and use as a way to express themselves. My style is always constantly changing throughout the week. I love to wear clothing that reflects my mood that day and I always use fashion as a way to make a statement wherever I go!

Favorite item you own?  Too hard to just choose one, so I am going to have to make a small list. I would say any of my fur vests, such a staple item this fall for any outfit, my new Betsey Johnson wooden heeled booties that I am becoming quickly addicted to, and my Prada bag that is classic and can be worn with almost any outfit.

Day 1: Sequins

There’s no such thing as too many sequins. I'm lying, you look ridiculous and those sequin Uggs were a big mistake.

There's a reason those Uggs are in the sale section; items in the sale section are the things no one wanted to buy. Don't be proud of yourself for snagging Uggs at Marshall's (ew, I just threw up a little bit in my mouth just thinking about that store). You didn't get a great deal; you got a pair of sequin covered boots that no one else wanted, for good reason.

The only time sequins are appropriate is on December 31st. Nothing says “I'm looking for a New Year’s kiss one night stand” quite like a sequin mini and a pair of killer Louboutins.

Girl 1: Keep it simple. No need to go wild on the top when you have a wild shorts pattern going on. So the simple black tank top was a good pairing. He is still not sure how He feels about the high waisted anything, some girls it works others it just makes their ass look big. Fendi Bag, and wooden strapped wedges.
Girl 2: White lace tank with a black bra, eh, not a big fan of that style. But like the vertically striped high waisted shorts. Wooden Heels over wooden wedges, these seem to be cleaner then Girl 1.

Are Those Leg Warmers Weighing You Down?

We talked about good leg warmers earlier this week, but here is an example of some bad leg warmers from Betsy Johnson.Stick with the sock version, these are a bit to extreme for He's liking, well that and there is nothing sexy about these at all. Then just had to throw in the leggings picture on the bottom because, they don't deserve a post on their own. But pretty terrible none-the-less.

Hair to Match Your Leggings...

The hair matching the tights is one thing, but what's with the fur coming out of the vest? Not liking the weird above ankle boots either. A complete failure of an outfit.

Shoe of the Week...Alexander Wang

Check out these sick shoes from Alexander Wang. All killers, big heel, crazy straps cut out things, and a sick profile view. Thinking these shoes, maybe some crazy cool tights, leather shorts, and you are off and running!

These leather boots feature a round toe with a patent cap and tongue, cut out and woven front, and a side flap at the ankle. Has a back zip fastening and a 5" stacked heel.  

Farfetch has a ton of other real cool designer shoes too. Not sure how you cannot like these, they are pretty freakin killer. Don't always have to go big and sparkle to get attention. Sometimes its the simple shoes that turn the most heads.

Roma The First City to Be High Heel Friendly!

As Italy Magazine (via Racked) tells it, Mayor Gianni Alemanno has taken notice of women struggling to keep their balance on the city streets: "The plan is to smooth the sidewalks and roads to make walking along them less dangerous, 'especially for women in heels.'”
Via del Corso is getting new cobblestones, followed by Via del Teatro Marcello, Via Petroselli, and Piazza Bocca della Veritá, all in an effort to make walking in heels a safer endeavor in Rome. Can I just say...grazie mille, signore!? If you're reading this, Mayor Bloomberg, I know some lovely ladies who would spend much more time partying in the Meatpacking District if the walk from the cab to the club wasn't scarier than Saw 3D!

Hey Pave the Entire World Over! Let's do this right. Ladies no longer get an excuse not to be in heels! Take cobblestone roads off the list! Mayor Gianni Alemanno is obviously a member of the ArmHe, and knows just like the rest of us that #TheHigherTheHeelTheHotterTheGirl. Bloomberg, get to work.
