Michèle from Switzerland, pretty sure our first HottHe of the Week from that part of the world, and glad to have her on board. Anyone who starts a blog called "Beware of My Heels," is going to grab He's attention faster then you can say HottHe. Even better she isn't one of those girls with the blog about heels then has all these pictures in flats, nope, couldn't find a single one. It's Go Big or Go Home with Michele and obviously that paired with everything else got her the title of HottHe of the Week.

How would you describe your style? For me it's always difficult to describe my style, it changes so much I like to try out a lot of things. Sometimes elegant, sometimes girlie, sometimes casual, sometimes rock..  So I can't say what's my style.

Favorite item you own? Favourite item? Oh my good, you absolutely stump me. I own 100 pairs of shoes and I love them all! I guess the newest pair is always the favourite. hahaha =D But I always love blazers, blazers can be worn with so many things. You can wear them with dresses, jeans and simple tee, and so on..

Who are your favorite designers? I don't really got this thing with designers, I think you could go to a H&M and ZARA and find as amazing garments as in a designer store. You don't have to pay hundreds or thousands of dollars for one shirt or one dress. Sometimes I think people who do that are kind of stupid. There are people in africa and other places of the world who have nothing to eat. They fight for their live and would be happy if they would have something to eat or clear water. We buy clothes for so much money and at the same time, there are people dying of starvation. That's just not fair. It's okey to own some designer stuff, but people who only wear this and nothing other are just poor in my eyes. But to your questions, I like a lot of Isabel Marant designs and I love Christian Louboutin shoe designs. :)

Here we go, Karina, He's Blonde HottHe of the Week, gotta have one a week right? Those tights above are still some of the hottest sexiest tights ever made, no question. Karina has a little mix of everything going on, and that's what earned her the HottHe of the Week title.





How would you describe your style? It's a good question. I just wear whatever I like while incorporating the newest trends. Often I think of something first and then turns out it's in right now. I like to think outside the box, but I try not to go over the top. And over all I just wear things that make me feel comfortable and represent my personality.

Favorite item you own? My leather jacket, faux fur jacket from KLING and MAC OLIVER button down that has a print of little senseis sitting down and under every one of them it says:"Sometimes I sits and thinks!!! And sometimes I just sits." I'm always very picky when I buy clothes so I like most of my wardrobe.

Who are your favorite designers? Alexander Wang, Vivienne Westwood, Tom Ford. Coco is a classic that I like to inspire from, and Jeffrey Campbell is a shoe genius.

How would you describe your style? I would describe my style as a little girl, dirty from climbing trees, mixed with a 70s & 90s cross-breed. I love prairie dresses, knotted hair and knee socks... Ripped cropped tee shirts, high-waisted shorts and vintage hats & bags.

Favorite item you own? My favorite item today would be my thrifted high-waisted Levi cut-offs.

Who are your favorite designers? I don't really have any favorite designers... I am more-so fascinated by street fashion... seeing how far people will take it... seeing how they represent themselves as they are walking down the street.

Leave the Modeling to Models...

"Poses" is a living than criticism of the absurd and artificial world of glamor and fashion magazines we sell, namely the distorted image of women that spread through models that do not represent real women.

Using the impossible positions of the fashion editorials, a group of real women to move these poses everyday scenes: the tail of a museum, the supermarket or a stoplight, causing the reaction of the spectators.

This just further proves that not everyone can make this look good.

Anyone else heard of this Blue Mascara stuff? He isn't much into the make up and beauty game, but last week while up in Boston, He's friend put this stuff on and her eyes were legit glowing. He has only seen it once before on that chick Romi from the Real L Word. Not sure anyone else even watches that show. Anyway, you don't see it very often which probably makes it cooler, definitely something the ArmHe should check out, because as He said before your eyes legit glow, its freaky cool stuff.

Be Ready with Hurr-He-cane Fashion...

UPDATE: He wrote this post a while back in January, but it is pretty relevant now.  Since there is a Hurr-He-cane looming outside, everyone is pretty much stuck on the couch for the next few days...He is the Fashion by He Survival Guide for Hurricanes.

Well with more snow falling in NYC, He got an emailing asking for Tips on good "cuddling up" apparel. It was actually a great idea, middle of winter, what is better then sleeping late, breakfast in bed, and cuddling up on the couch? Who wouldn't want an opportunity to do that with He for a weekend? In case you did get the chance, here is a little preview of what He would expect from a CozHe lady, listed in no special order.

1) Yoga Pants - Leggings - Gods give to man.
2) Hanes White Tank Tops - aka wife beaters - No Bra Needed - one of He's Favorite looks of all times.
4) Boyfriend Button down - Means it was a good night, pair with boy shorts for extreme happiness.
5) Pajama Pants - Cute but Pajama shorts are cuter
6) Boy shorts - Never Granny P*nties, no way no how, Boy shorts are the way to go, pair with a tank top, long sleeve shirt, pretty much anything and He will be happy.
7) T-Shirts - The softer the better, a boyfriends, a hand-me-down, but again He prefers the bra remains on the floor.
8) Lingerie, Lace, Babydolls, Teddys, etc - Don't get He wrong, He loves all of these, but are better at night then they are in the morning. Make the switch over to something more comfortable and cute. Leave the sexy and hot outfits as a memory of the night.

And of course no matter what you end up wearing, remember, He takes He's coffee black, eggs over easy and butter on white toast.

Are these Girls Dresses Too Tight? Yes...

There are some very clear signs girls should keep a look out for when putting on a body con, epidermis, or any other tight clothing. Underwear lines for one is a huge thing to look and check for. Not a good look when your dress is tighter then your underwear and then even worse that the world can see it. Second, these are not street fair day outfits, these dresses are for when the sun goes down, and should never be worn with either of those two pairs of shoes.

Shoe of the Week...Rachel Zoe

Surprisingly maybe, Fashion by He is a Rachel Zoe fan. Three Rachel Zoe shoes for fall. No way you cannot find something to like in this mix.

1) Eva Suede Wedges - 6" heel, 1.5" platform. Wedges are always a great way to stabilize and still look good. The wedge has a cool design too, definitely something more then a regular wedge.
2) Katherine Leather and Suede Wedge Ankle Boots - 5" heel, 1.5" platform. Adds a little flash to the wedge.
3) Audrey Stretch Suede Platform Ankle Boots - 5.25" heel, 1" platform. If you need a boot for fall, this one is definitely high enough to get He's approval

Another Cali girl, damn they do it right out there. Beautiful beaches, great weather, girls better be looking good. There are a ton of recently pictures on Naz's blog that He wish He had added into the collage, like some real good ones. Hell of a collection of shoes too, and big cuffs might be one of the most underrated items right now. Naz keep up the good work you are a Fashion by He west coast HottHe.




How would you describe your style? I would describe my style as ever-changing. Daily in fact. One day I'll choose to wear feathers and a bohemian dress and later that same day I'll change into leather shorts and a sequined top. It would impossible to place myself in one category, I love fashion too much.

Favorite item you own? Hm that's pretty difficult. The most reoccuring piece in all of my pictures is my puppy... she loves to be photographed. Clothingwise? Probably a pair of high heels, everything looks better with heels, especially your confidence.

Who are your favorite designers? My favorite designers are Christian Louboutin, Monolo Blahnik, for their amazing shoes, Monolo came up with the Arunium far before Lady Gaga's fame. I also give Jeffrey Campbell major credit for making such interesting and unique shoes at such an affordable price. Of course I can't forget my close friends Hennes and Mauritz.

Has to be a reason everyone is taking about girls from Cali and He might have found two of the answers this week with the HottHes of the Week. Meet Kaitlynn, from San Deigo, one of He's favorite places on Earth. With girls like Kaitlynn walking around, it just makes it that much better. Kaitlynn is He Approved and this weeks HottHe of the Week.


How would you describe your style? I honestly can say I am a mix of a bunch of different styles. I love being different and unique from everyone else and dressing in what I love. I tend to fall in love with a certain piece and it somehow finds it's way perfectly together in an outfit. But I would definitely say I am a twist of being boho/hippie, edgy, and modern!

Favorite item you own? Oh this is tough, I love all my clothes! But I would have to say my Jeffrey Campbell Litas never seem to fail me...only that one time I took a little fall down a few stairs wearing them at a party...woops. :P

Who are your favorite designers? The high-end designers that I love are Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, and Prada. I say I have at least one thing each from these designers.

How would you describe your style? It's colorful and various. It can be said that my style is based on matching colors in the right way and it's a mix of many different styles such as boho, pin-up, vintage, punk, hippie and sometimes a bit of sexy style. The most important thing for me is looking good in newest trends, not like a fashion victim. Wearing something trendy doesn't mean looking good.


Favorite item you own? Oh, there's a lot of them. But well, there are 3 items I love the most this season - leopard sunglasses, Jeffrey Campbell Foxy Wood shoes and my pink Zara skinny pants, bought in Paris.

Who are your favorite designers? Well to be honest I rather don't wear clothes from designers cause I can't afford them for now, however they are always my big inspiration. I love many designers but especially Jeremy Scott, Dean and Dan Caten from disquared2, Emily Faulstich and Kimberley Gordon from wildfox couture, Jeffrey Campbell and Christian Louboutin as shoe masters. I often wear things from New Look, H&M, Zara, Primark and Romwe. Of course I'm also buying in vintage shops, sometimes I even prefer them to mass brands.

Leave it it Canada to come up with something this dumb. Apparently Thuggies are to warm up after surfing or snowboarding, which is interesting because does Canada even have any surfing? First off, get something that keeps the bra straps together under the shirt, looks silly like that. Second, wear a thong, boy shorts leave a weird line on your ass, and then guys like He have to stare at it as you walk.

Girls 2: Pretty much the same situation over here, except this time, its a black dress and wedges, hold the socks. This dress is definitely uglier compared to the last, the word frumpy comes to mind. Other chick has on high waisted like silk or sheer pants

He: Describe For Love & Lemons in one word?
L-G: Awesome!

He: What made you decide to start your own clothing line? 
L-G: We kind of fell into it. We had a fashion show at our local ski bar(where we hand sewn all our samples out of batik fabrics we brought back from Bali). Photos of the show had leaked online and a couple stores contacted us about carrying some pieces, as well as a ton of girls in our home town were buying out everything! it wasn't till then that we really decided to take it more seriously!

He: Who is the For Love & Lemons girl? 
L-G: She is a cool, casually sexy girl. She doesn't try too hard, she knows who she is and what she wants, she likes standing out from the crowd, but not in an overdone way. She is fun, quirky, smart, artsy, passionate, a little bit wild, a little discreet, intelligent, and people look up to her. If Brigitte Bardot and James Dean had a love child, that would be our girl, figuratively speaking.

Bight Colors and Cheeky Bottoms...

When you can get both Bar Refaeli and Candice Swanepoel involved into a bathing suit collection, you have done something very right. When you are written about on Fashion by He, consider yourself big time. Bright Colors - Big Designs - and Cheeky Bottoms will turn many heads wherever you wear these bathing suits. Also if you notice a lot of the pictures are styled with body chains and jewelry, wasn't it He who told you that a bathing suit alone wasn't enough, add some bling. Aqua Bendita not sure if that is Spanish or something but pretty sure from all He's years of Spanish that translate to really sexy bathing suits. Oh and pretty sure Pitbull should be playing in the background as you read this post.

Shoe of the Week...Alexander McQueen

Another post Fashion by He is taking off. But don't worry He is leaving the Shoe of the Week in the trustworthy hands of HottHe Lauren from Diary of a Fashion Addict. Always easy to hand over the blog to someone else when they have been a HottHe before, ya know she's got style.

Hey ArmHe- Lauren from Diary of a Fashion Addict here filling in for He. Do you love these boots?! I almost keeled over when I first saw these bad boys on Net-a-Porter.com. They’re so pretty it hurts to look at them.

When He asked me to take over the “Shoe of the Week” I knew these Alexander McQueen boots where the right pair for the job. Red & fuchsia, two of Fall’s biggest colors in all their 5 inch buttery suede glory, for the bargain price of $1,075. 

So how would I wear these you ask??? Monochromatic all the way. Fuchsia or red head-to-toe, and don’t forget to throw in some texture like chiffon or leather for good measure. My second thought- pair with anything leopard. Go big or go home.

Yes, finally another NYC HottHe. NYC should be racking up the HottHe's but submissions have been lacking for the big city. A southern girl turned NYCer, Margaret is a "higher the heel, hotter the girl." perfect example. High heels, Jeffrey Campbell, saw some wide legged jeans in the mix. Margaret is doing everything right, and for that He has given her Approval and made her this weeks HottHe of the Week.
 



How would you describe your style? I guess I would call my style eclectic.  I love top designers, vintage no name clothing, pieces I "borrowed" from my mom's closet and good old H&M.  I like anything from the 50's classy pleated skirt to the pin up girl look, the bohemian chic to the trendy Bloomy's clothing.

Favorite item you own? I probably don't have one favorite item, but a collection of favorite things.  I've always been a fan of jewelry and shoes.  I own several pairs of Reiss and United Nude shoes.  I also really love extravagant, chunky and vintage jewelry.  Vintage clip-ons are a must for me right now.

Who are your favorite designers? I am very excited about designers like Alexander Wang, United Nude, Reiss, Marc Jacobs, Chanel, Pour la Victoire, Kenneth Jay Lane and Ralph Lauren.

How would you describe your style? At times I feel like my style can be sort of confusing. It's sort of like a mood ring. One day I'll want to rock the edgy alternative look but then other days I have these random times where I feel the need to be entirely girly. Overall when I was younger I grew up with the punks, the goths, and the loners. The people mainstream deemed as weirdos. So I'll always be a rocker tomboy at heart even if it doesn't always show through my clothes. But I like to think of my style as a modern take on and alternative look. I like to dress easy, comfortable, and I love customizing things.

Favorite item you own? This is a tough one. I would have to say my anniversary necklace from Tiffanys. Me and my partner have been together five years this year so it was a very special sentimental piece for me. It's not the most elaborate or glamorous. Just a white gold key with a flower design and a diamond. Every time I wear it I always feel more optimistic.

Who are your favorite designers? I would have to say proenza schouler, alexander wang, jeremy scott because he has an eclectic take on style, and rick owens.

 How would you describe your style?  I would say my style is a mixture of bohemian grunge with a bit of vintage thrown in!

Favorite Designers? Favourite designers are rick owens, vivienne westwood, alexander wang. Brands i love are Free People and Topshop.


Favorite item you own? Favourite items I own: my beautiful pair of vivienne westwood pirate boots, Rick Owens tank top and my vintage trilbys which i cant live without...but there are so many items in my wardrobe i treasure them all equally!

FashionTalk by He...Hipstercrite Takes over FbyHe

Fashion by He is taking the night off, so He brought in Texas blogger Hipstercrite to take over the afternoon post. Enjoy, and let us know what you think, and if there is anyone else you would like to see take over Fashion by He for the Day.

My name is Hipstercrite. I'm a blogger in Austin, Texas. This means I wear ironic articles of clothing such as the "Darth Maul Bathing Suit"- or rather the Nylon Tricot Hooded Swimsuit from American Apparel.

During the summer months of the year, you can't really wear real clothing in Austin. In fact, it's completely legal to walk around topless in Austin, but most people don't exercise that right because of the embarrassing amounts of boob sweat that women accumulate here.

My typical garb of high-waisted pants, ties, and mustaches is not possible during this time of year. Constricted clothing and prosthetic hair adhesive does not bode well with an unrelenting sun and 105 degree temperatures. Because of this, I've had to made bathing suits part of my daily wear. Bathing suits are not always that stylish. Well, at least mine never were. I typically wore breast-flattening and hip-reducing one-pieces that made me look like a 13 year-old boy. So one day I got wise and bought a bathing suit with a hood- because who the hell ever heard of such a thing? Believe me, my caped beachwear is a conversation starter. People stare and point and stand at least fifteen feet away from me out of fear I'm hiding a lightsaber somewhere in that nylon.

Yesterday He wrote about Jac Langheim and his collection of latex. Well everyone woman needs an accessory with her dress, so check out Zana Bayne and the Fall Collection. Some pretty intense stuff in the collection, pretty sure you would instantly be a bad ass in any of it.

What Do We Think of this Blueberry?

He can give her the textured tights with the line up the back of them as being slightly sexy. The blue plaid dress and matching heels however, is not nearly as hot. Kinda understand what she was trying to do, and maybe it works, but would highly highly not recommend this look to anyone.

Who'se Down to Wear Latex this Fall?

It was Fashion by He that predicted the coming of Latex, that sooner or later it would be a mainstream product. Yes Katie Perry has been wearing it a while, but you haven't seen many designers stick it into their collections. Well it seems that Jac Langheim finally got the message and is taking it to the world. Latex is still as sexy as every and if you walked into a party in a latex dress, everyone would probably turn, but mostly because they would be jealous you had the balls to pull it off and they didn't.
