ShoeSmash...YSL vs Christian Louboutin

By now we all know about the lawsuit by Christian Louboutin vs YSL over the red bottom soles.First off, He should come after everyone and anybody with a color on the bottom of their shoes besides red, because as we all know that FbyHe was the very first person with idea for other colors on the bottom of shoes. Hell this was a billion dollar idea, He gave to the world, but life goes on.

We move on, this post has nothing to do with a lawsuit or red bottom soles. Fashion by He wants to know which shoe would you rather have, or which is more desirable? He thinks that woman saving up enough more for one or the other is going to always go with the Christian Louboutin because of the name and idea associated with the red bottoms. To have the red bottom soles means you have made it and bought an expensive pair of shoes. He's argument is that YSL is a better purchase. They look better, you will look better, look higher, and the red bottom is kinda over done...

How could He not? 8" invisible heel, 4.5" platform, there is no way He wasn't going to make this the Shoe of the Week today. Not expensive at all, and if you can walk in these or even try and go out in them, well then you are amazing. Black Magic Platforms, could there be a better name for them, definitely not. And hell if you don't want the all black, they come in Leopard print too. Since they are only like $100 bucks He is sure it won't be long before they are popping up on blogs left and right.

Nothing wrong with a darker HottHe, and by darker He simply means not your typical Florida blogger. Meet HottHe Kara, the second HottHe today that has Lita's. Still just a student and a young fashionista, He is pretty sure she is making big waves in school. Hell no way He would get anything done with Kara walking around. Kara is also a photographer which He thinks helps makes the pictures even cooler, adds another element to a regular outfit post.


How would you describe your style? I have always had a very different sense of fashion, I love anything leather or rock-n-roll/punk inspired, but am also drawn to lace or vintage. I always turn to Alison Mosshart from the Kills and Zooey Deschanel for inspirations along with Lookbook.nu, which has also introduced me to new designers. If you saw my old apartment and decor you might think you were walking into my grandmothers house with my old birdcages, clocks, and owls.

Favorite item you own? I have to say my favorite item in my closet right now is a leather jacket I purchased a few years ago from a Victoria Secret catalog, you can pair it with jeans and a rock teeshirt or even with a flower or lace dress. I also just purchased a vintage 70's flower mini dress that I am in lust with. Sometimes I splurge though on shoes, like with my new sparkly pink Jeffrey Campbell's.

Who are your favorite designers? Currently I frequent Wildfox.com, Urban Outfitters, Dolce Gabbana, h&m, Ray Bans, thrift stores like Jezabels in Fort Lauderdale, and Modcloth.com. I am really into vintage and you will most likely find a vintage piece of clothing in each of my outfits. I love going through thrift stores and finding something I know no one else will own, especially because I live on a student budget. Hey Izzy, You so fine, you blow He's mind. Hey Izzy. This blogger and model is all sorts of good. Best part about featuring Models as HottHe's they understand that its high heels or go home. Well that and shes comfortable being half naked in heels, of course Izzy does it in style, and looks almost equally as good in clothes. Izzy is a HottHe, and can model for He anytime.

How would you describe your style? I'm an actress and model living in Soho and very influenced by the downtown fashion scene in New York City-- from the vintage shops to the independent designers. I also am starting a yoga teaching course, and I love to incorporate something earthy and laidback into my style-- feathers, lotsa bracelets, rings and necklaces or unique vintage pieces. But I'm French, so I also love red lipstick and slightly fancier clothes like trenches on occasion!

Favorite item you own? this summer it's a pair of white wedges from Coach. I picked them up on consignment brand-new ;)! I wear them every day! I love thrifting and finding incredible deals in my neighborhood.This winter it was a black cloak with a hood and three big buttons I got from an independent Korean designer at Think Closet.

Who are your favorite designers? I tend to prefer individual and unique clothes with a slightly romantic feel. So my favorite designers are people like my friend Danny Tang, who's very influenced by HIS friend Alexander Wang, also one of my favorite designers. I also adore Rebecca Taylor for her flowy chiffon dresses and 3.1 Philip Lim. Top Shop is FANTASTIC for accessories and I love the shoes and basics at Zara.

This weeks first HottHe is a blogger from England, meet Gabriella. Starting to seem like these Jeffrey Campbell Litas are about as popular on HottHe's as the Jessica Simpson Dani Shoes. Which He suppose is just fine, they are both super high.Gabriella has a confidence to her that He caught onto right away and He likes her style, bam, He Approved.


How would you describe your style? My style depends on my mood, but I’ve been feeling like a bit of a throwback to the 80s lately, so I love to intertwine Vintage with high street and designer pieces; I think American Apparel channel vintage meets modern like no other store I’ve seen and I buy a hell of a lot of their stuff purely for that reason. I love mixing things that you wouldn’t usually put together and for me form is always way more important than function – which usually results in some impractical impulse purchases. I also follow the mantra that accessories make an outfit, whether that accessory is a killer pair of heels, a bag or jewellery - in my case it’s usually a ring on every other finger and a tonne of necklaces

Favorite item you own? Such a tough question – but I’d have to say either my Vivienne Westwood pirate boots and my Mulberry ‘Alexa’ handbag, as they’re both timeless and I can see myself still wearing them in 5 years time. They’re closely followed my by Jeffrey Campbell ‘Litas’ – JC should be given some kind of Lifetime Recognition Award for his contribution to women’s shoes. Oh, I almost forgot, but I wouldn’t be able to live without my Ray Ban Wayfarers either.

Who are your favorite designers? Because I’m from the UK and I believe she epitomises all that is brilliant about British fashion, I’d have to say Vivienne Westwood is my favourite designer. I’m a sucker for Alexander Wang, The Kooples and Rag & Bone too.

Do You Have the Right Equiment?

By the right equipment, He of course means Equipment Shirts. A Chick sent in this idea last week asking for He's opinion and pretty much telling He that they were hot, and that He should approve them. She also threw in a nice little, "some can be worn without a bra." And that is exactly the point in time when He was sold. The need for diversity within the fashion sector has once again been brought to the forefront by
the comments of well-known British Designer Julian Macdonald.

Last year Mr Macdonald, a host on the TV programme Britain’s Next Top Model, caused controversy
when he said in an interview about the series: “You can’t have a plus size girl winning – it makes it a
joke.”

However, in a recent interview with Wales on Sunday he seemed to retract these views, saying: “I
think it should be called Britain’s Next Real Model because the girls we’ve chosen are real girls.”

He has since gone on to say he would support a plus-size winner, saying there is a gap in the
market for such a winner. In addition to Macdonald’s comments, the growing popularity of plus-
size models was highlighted by a cover for Vogue Italia, which features curvy models in flattering
underwear. Ladies wishing to copy the look of plus size models should snap up some of the
excellent range of Women’s plus size clothing from Bonmarche.

In a further move that suggests we will soon be seeing women with more ample frames on the
catwalk, big-time London agency Models 1 have announced that they are responding to demand
by starting to represent models of size 14. They are joining up with plus-size model agency Excel to
work on this goal.

Happy Wednesday. This has really quickly become one of He's favorite days. The HottHe's just never seem to run dry. How would you describe your style? My style changes on a daily basis depending on my mood. So I'm not too sure how would I describe it. But generally, I love classic pieces incorporated with a wee bit of trend.

Gorgeous! Sometimes there is only one word to describe a hot chick and for Molliee, that word is Gorgeous. Love the style, the jewelry, the legs, and of course all the high heels. Is Wearing Temporary Tattoos Cool?

Obviously the Lip tattoos He wrote about before are not cool, face tattoos are also a failure, hand tattoos are for children, and there was some fashion person who made really cool body tattoos that were popular. But He's question is, does wearing regular temporary tattoos look cool? Is it fun? He will admit right now, He has definitely had a few to many drinks and thought it was a funny thing to do. Woke up the next morning with temporary tattoos all over.

He is not so sure He would hate the idea if girls were like putting these things on, obviously not as a tramp stamp but could be a fun addition to an outfit...Maybe He should make Crown Fashion by He tattoos to giveaway.

HottHe of the Week...Bethany

This weeks HottHe's brought the heat, and luckily its hot as hell out in NYC. Sticking around the USA for our last HottHe of the Week - Bethany. Bethany is your classic HottHe, well in He's mind she is. Looks like she should be a Planet Blue Model, damn California girls get He every single time. Love the wavy hair, the stacked bangles, beach chic look, pretty much everything. Bethany is He Approved.


How would you describe your style? My style depends on my mood. I have never really had a set style. I kind of experiment with everything haha I think its more fun that way!

Favorite item you own? I'm in love with the two new pairs of shoes I got for mother's day! I got some white platform clog sandals and some huge platform lace up booties! They're gigantic.

Who are your favorite designers? My favorite designers are Philip Lim, Alexander Wang, and Marc Jacobs.
